Maurice Scarlett III (  b.1992 ) a Baltimore native, is a multidisciplinary artist. In his artworks he incorporates figures in a dark, and alluring tone. Using his work as a way to show representation of black figures in a unique way, and to also share his individual experience through visual storytelling. Creating his own imaginative world with his choice of colors. Heavily influenced for his love of jazz, water, and spirituality.  As a result his subjects often reflect feelings, and experiences others can resonate with. Using his art as a vessel to inform, and uplift.
